Mommy worked a double at work today, thanks to Daddy volunteering her:) However, I was able to come home for a few hours in between to see my 2 favorite boys! I am jealous, but love that Charlie and Daddy have boys night on Saturdays while I work. Boys night generally consist of Pizza, a movie, then homework for Daddy. When I do get the pleasure of being around for these nights, they are my favorite! I thank God everyday for my blessings, my Charlie, and his amazing Dad! Often times I find myself just smiling knowing how amazing of a Dad Adam is, and Charlie doesn't even know yet how lucky he is!! I look forward to the days of Charlie learning so much stuff from Daddy! I have to say those thoughts are the only happy thoughts I have about my baby growing up, because I, as most moms probably do, don't want him to grow up too fast! Although, I am just so excited to teach him new things and "meet" the person he is going to be. Charlie is my bestest friend, and Daddy is in a very close second spot;) I positively mean it when I say I LOVE my boys! I am so very blessed!!
We also had our baptism class this morning, FINALLY! I feel like our schedules have been so very crazy and a minor lack of communication, made it seem like forever! Charlie, I have to say, loves going to Church. He is generally the best kid, but then again, we sit in the pew reserved for parents with infants and ushers all the way in the back:) I am sure that there are some very well behaved kids in front as well. I think this week we will try to sit closer, because Mommy gets very uneasy around misbehaved kids. I blame my Mother. In fact, I never misbehaved as a child because my Mom used to tell me that I would get a spanking , "in front of God and everybody." Now, I didn't care if Joe Shmo saw it, but I was always terrified, because if God saw it, then he would know I was being bad:) It may sound bad, but it worked! And, now it is something we love to laugh about! I appreciate so many little things now. I appreciate my Mom for always making us go to sunday school, bible study, CCD with friends, retreats, and anything else the church had to offer. Charlie can be sure, he will have the same opportunities within the church that I, and his dad had, perhaps a bit more organized though! To say the least, I am delighted to have have Charlie's baptism day in the workings! It is just the beginning the wonderful life he is sure to lead; and what better way could we ask for, than beginning his relationship with Christ?
Also, we saw our Magen today, hugged her, loved her, then pooped all over her:) I am beginning to think that pooping is a sign of affection for Charlie. However, thanks to OxyClean, the situation was controlled, Greenworks did the clean up, and Magen is much appreciated for her expertise in the area. Where many would have handed him over to Mom and Dad, Magen whisked him off to clean him up. Thank you Magen!! All in all, a good day, now Mommy needs to hit the hay!
Your more than welcome. Love you two!
