The last 3 months have been jam packed full of summer fun and goodness. We were fortunate enough to have a nanny through the summer to allow Charlie to have a super fun summer. I especially enjoyed my afternoons with him. From parks, the museum, the zoo, Czech Fest, grandma and grandpa's house, cousins, swimming, sprinklers, pop sickles, ice-cream trucks, puppy's, iPod and iPad, new toys and bikes this summer has been a blast!! We went from a shy little boy to a wild and crazy animal! Charlie doesn't stop from the time he gets up to the time he goes to bed. He is sassy and loud. He bites, he hits, and he pinches. He is allllll BOY! But he is also very kind, sweet, giving, and loves with all he has. He is persistent, determined, and strong willed. He makes me laugh when I tell him no, no matter how much I actually mean no!! There are so many moments when I want to give him away to a free home but just when I think it, he comes and kisses my cheek, says hi Mom, and gives me a hug. His personality is coming out exponentially and although it is exhausting, I simply love being his mom! These are certainly going to be the days that I miss as he grows up.

Happy 2nd Birthday, hi-yay!
The day has arrived and my tiny, six pound baby boy has grown quickly into his toddler years! The time has been swift, yet filled with the most amazing memories and it simply breaks my heart that I cannot remember them all. Last week I asked Charlie what he wanted for his birthday and his response was, "H." It was the sweetest most innocent thing ever! So now I am frantically trying to figure out how I am going to get him a stuffed H for his party:)
Charlie has began talking so mucho since his move to the two's room a couple months ago. His favorite color is purple, and his favorite letters (other than H) are A, E, and I, naturally, because we spell his name daily on rides in the car. He is obsessed with Trucks and Dogs... What two year old boy isn't, right? He is such a sweet boy. He says "hi" or "hello" to ever person, creature, or unusual object he sees. He loves nature and being outside. In fact just a few days ago he threw his first real life, full on, tantrum because we left the park. It lasted about 20 minutes and was the funniest thing to watch. I reassured Charlie that it was ok to feel sad, and hugged him until he was over it. He is going to be very persistent as he grows up (just like his dad).
The past two years have been crazy, wild, and fun! I am so blessed to have such a good boy. He sleeps well, plays hard, and listens (most of the time). He is beyond spoiled and I wouldn't have it any other way! He may be small for now (21lbs) but there is no doubt in my mind that Charlie is going to make a big impression on this world. I just know it! After all, he has a momma that loves more than anyone could ever imagine and a daddy with a work ethic that even makes mommy tired. In between, is a lot of years to play and have fun! Happy birthday to my sweet baby who wore a tux to school on his 2nd birthday because there wasn't any reason not to; happy birthday Charlie!

Here Kitty Kitty
Charlie got a Kitty Cat. We are still deciding on an official name, but are leaning towards Recon. He is all black with green eyes and about the same size as Charlie. Charlie is as happy as one could ever be. He loves his kitty so much that the poor kitty will probably lose some weight in the next week or so as he is not able to stay in any one spot too long before his new best friend comes to play. Charlie is full of love, excitement, and plenty of hugs for "Recon" and when he needs to relax he simply uses the kitty for a pillow. He is so sweet. My favorite is when he claps his hands to summon the cat while saying his version of kitty which sounds more like a drawn out way of saying key. We are sure to have lots of wonderful memories with our new addition. Best of all, he will always be Charlie's first pet, and hold a special place in his heart. Lots of learning opportunities are and have been presented already with a pet. It may not be the sister I desire for Charlie but it is certainly somebody to entertain and play with the baby.

November 2012
Just a few random pics. Charlie has been snuggling with his animals, which has made for a Where's the Baby I Spy... So cute! He also helped mama clean the bathroom since he helps me get ready everyday and personally destroys my bathroom. But I love it.
Halloween Trick-or-Treating
My little sack of Taters had so much fun visiting all his Grandmas and Grandpas on Halloween. He was a little unsure of the yard decorations at one house; he got to give candy out at another; and spent the rest of his night climbing and rearranging at the third. He was so exhausted that he fell asleep in the car on the way home. I think that proves a successful Halloween!
Love my pumpkins!
Just some cute pictures of Charlie enjoying his pumpkins. We carved the big one with cousins at Grandmas and picked the little pumpkins from Vala's Pumpkin Patch.
